ESI was a subcontractor to Turner Construction. ESI performed the over-lot grading on the 48 acre site which included moving and placing approximately 280,000 cy of material. Site grading for roadways, parking lots, ball fields, drainage swales and building pads was also part of ESI’s scope. Structural excavation and backfill for the field house was completed by ESI personnel. ESI also installed the sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and waterlines on the project. A precast bridge structure was installed in the drainage channel as part of the design. All site and structural concrete was placed by ESI’s concrete personnel. This project was a high visibility project and had tight deadlines to meet the grand opening date set by the town. There was a lot of coordination between many subcontractors throughout this project. ESI’s project management staff was heavily involved in the on-going design of this project to value engineer items without losing the intent and quality of the project. The town personnel were exceptionally pleased with ESI’s performance and teamwork attitude throughout the project.
